Big Swings, Bold Outfits, and Bragging Rights Secured

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from this year’s Employee Scramble, it’s that our staff plays just as hard as they work. The day kicked off with a shotgun start, and yes, the friendly smack talk started (for weeks) before the first swing. From the opening drives to the final tap-ins, the Lakes Course was full of competitive spirits, creative strategy, and plenty of “Did you see that?” moments echoing across the fairways.

Congratulations to Our Winners!

When the dust settled (and a few lost balls were accounted for), one team rose above the rest. With an impressive 8-under, Nick Calli’s team took home the tournament victory and half the bragging rights that come with it. Consistency? Check. Teamwork? Absolutely. A little luck? Always helps. Whatever the magic combination was, they nailed it.

But golf glory wasn’t the main event of the day. Showing off as much flair as finesse, Ron Rutter’s Caddie team snagged the coveted Best Dressed Award. From bold green colors to coordinated Ron Rutter looks, they proved that if you can’t win on the scorecard, you can still win on the runway.

We do think if Ron’s Caddies team won Best dressed, an honorable mention goes to the Rutter Putter team – a team of Ron Rutter at his best.

From Tee Box to Tavern: End of the Season Employees’ Day Out

After the last putt dropped, everyone headed back to The Tavern for a well-earned after-play buffet. Plates were piled high, stories got taller, and laughter filled the room as teams replayed their best shots, and conveniently forgot their not-so-best ones.

From a lively start to a feast-worthy finish, this year’s Employee Scramble brought together everything we love: competition, camaraderie, and a whole lot of fun. Until next year, keep practicing those swings and coordinating those outfits.
