Get ready, Maryland! This February, Queenstown Harbor is turning up the heat with our first-ever Bartender Brawl Challenge, running February 1st through 28th. Guests from are invited to taste, cheer, and sip their way through a month-long cocktail showdown featuring our talented bartending team.
Meet the Contestants: Four Bartenders, Four Weeks, One Winner
Each week in February The Tavern at Queenstown Harbor will spotlight one of our amazing bartenders, who will showcase their own unique cocktail creation. The bartender who sells the most cocktails during their week will win, and their signature drink will permanently join our menu.
Week 1: Mike, February 1 – 7. Week 2: Caitlyn, February 8 – 14
Each featured bartender will be highlighted on social media so you can get to know the faces behind your favorite drinks and interacting with them on social media at our facebook and instagram will help them win! Make sure you are following along!
Week 3: Chad, February 15 – 21. Week 4: Amy, February 22 – 28
How the Bartender Brawl Works
Our bartenders aren’t just mixing drinks, they’re crafting experiences. Each cocktail must:
- Include at least 4 ingredients
- Feature a homemade simple syrup
- Include a unique garnish
- Be batchable for consistent service
- Have a memorable, original name
- Be exclusive (cannot be found on social media)
Danielle, our in-house mixology expert, guides the bartenders through the R&D process, ensuring every cocktail is perfectly balanced and approved before going live.
During their spotlight week, each bartender is responsible for:
- Creating their themed Trivia Night to accompany their signature cocktail
- Sharing social media content to engage the community
- Training and testing all bartenders on their cocktail
- Batching cocktails for consistency
- Preparing syrups and garnishes
- Maintaining the highest quality presentation
