Nestled along the mouth of the Chester River, where it flows into the Chesapeake Bay, enjoy panoramic water views on over half the course, and experience the newly renovated bunkers featuring high-flash white sand and a striking, elevated design. The layout offers the perfect mix of tree-lined fairways and open, links-style holes, creating both variety and challenge. Whether you’re a local or visiting the area, The River Course is open to the public and ready to impress.
Lakes Course
The Lakes Course at Queenstown Harbor is a true player’s course – fun, fair, and rewarding for golfers of all skill levels. Recognized multiple times as one of the best golf courses in the country for women, it has earned a spot on Golf Digest’s Top 50 Public Courses for Women.
In 2024, the course underwent a major bunker renovation. Forty-two traditional bunkers were removed and replaced with 20 grass-faced, flat-bottom bunkers, transforming how the course plays and offering a fresh challenge for returning players. Known for its fun design and scenic layout, The Lakes Course is Open to the public.
At Queenstown Harbor, we view our property as both a premier golf course and a thriving wildlife sanctuary, guiding every decision with a commitment to environmental stewardship. As a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary since 2008, we use best management practices and Integrated Pest Management to minimize chemical inputs, conserve water, and enhance wildlife habitats. Our dedication to sustainability has earned national recognition, including the prestigious “Environmental Leader in Golf Award” from Golf Digest and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

Queenstown Harbor Golf is home to a world-class driving range and practice areas that are open to the public and ideal for the amateur and seasoned golfer alike. Our practice areas feature two putting greens, a chipping green and a practice bunker.

Membership
While you don’t need a membership to play at open-to-the-public Queenstown Harbor, golf course memberships at Queenstown Harbor make sense for many people – especially our most frequent visitors. Memberships include complimentary cart fees, convenient payment plans, 17-day advance preferred tee times, and invitations to members-only events. There are no hidden cart fees with our memberships.

Sharpen your skills, improve your score and find friends on the green. Open to the public, players of all ages and skill levels are invited to play in Queenstown Harbor Leagues. Space is limited and many of our leagues are in popular demand. We suggest you sign up early. Registration is currently closed.

Lessons
The path to better play is unique to every golfer. The biggest step in becoming a good player is understanding how the flight of the ball teaches the correct geometry of impact. Without lessons, it is very difficult to decipher what is causing the ball to fly away from its intended target.
As stated by the Late Great John Jacobs, “THE GOLF SWING has only one purpose: to deliver the head of the club to the ball correctly and to achieve such impact repeatedly. Many unorthodox players achieve correct impact — so long as it’s repeatable, it’s OK.” Our Instructors will be able to provide each individual golfer with a clear picture of how to improve THEIR game.

We’re home to one of the best Pro Shops in Maryland, and we offer a variety of high-quality equipment, clothing and accessories suited for any golfer. Best of all, our team truly knows and understands every product we carry, and can offer recommendations for whatever you might need — from shoes to balls to clubs. CUSTOM FITTINGS
Every golfer is different. That is why custom golf club fitting is so important. Using radar technology to track your swing and the ball we will fine tune the perfect club for your game. From driver down to your putter we will be able to confidently fit to you and increase your confidence on the course. We challenge anyone to test their current equipment against a custom fit product and be amazed at the difference a proper fitting can make in their game.
