From perfecting the greens before the first tee time to executing every detail of a special event flawlessly, they go beyond completing tasks, showing thoughtfulness in the small gestures that make guests feel seen and valued. Whether they remember a favorite drink or offer a warm smile at check-in, their unwavering passion and teamwork create unforgettable experiences and build a culture of gratitude, pride, and connection that we celebrate this season (and all year round).

From the First Tee to the Final Toast: Wherever, Whenever
At Queenstown Harbor, we’re thankful for a culture where everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves. It’s not uncommon to find our Vice President of Development bartending or carrying salads during a wedding weekend, or to see members of our senior leadership team jumping in to support hourly staff at a moment’s notice. You might even spot our golf staff shuttling guests or helping serve during events. That “whatever it takes” spirit is woven into everything we do. The team and culture at Queenstown Harbor are truly what keep this place great. There’s a reason we’ve had multiple long-term employees return to the staff – sometimes with nearly a decade between their first job here and the role they hold today. Queenstown Harbor feels like home, and for many of our employees, it is home.
Creating an Experience
With over 50 years of combined experience, our hospitality team knows how to create an atmosphere that turns first-time visitors into lifelong guests. From warm check-ins to seamless event execution, they’re the heartbeat of our accommodations and event operations. Erin Stolle, Senior Director of Business and Resort Operations, is THANKFUL for all the GREAT people she gets to work with EVERYDAY! (And my healthy family!).
Our golf and grounds team, with more than 90 years of collective experience, elevates every round. Whether they’re refreshing the greens, customizing a player’s experience, or remembering your swing quirks from your last visit (even among the many others!), they ensure that golf at Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort is both meaningful and memorable. Dave Malasky, Property Maintenance Manager, is thankful that a warm hug and wagging tail is all he needs to make a bad day a distant memory. JR Claro, Head Golf Professional, is thankful for every league member that thought they can get closer to the pin.
And of course, our food and beverage team, bringing 40+ years of customer service and culinary expertise, keeps the “Cheers” spirit alive. They’re the ones who remember your drink order, your favorite spot at the bar, and… exactly which hole gives you the most trouble (and they will lovingly heckle you about it). Danielle Pollock, Food and Beverage Director, is thankful for her team, who helps create the magic of the Tavern at Queenstown Harbor.
Many of the food and beverage team, including Steph, are thankful for their family and their team.
John is thankful for the amazing “office” I get to come to work in every day and the incredible team I get to share it with!
